Review of Bonnie and Clyde (1967) by Pete S — 02 Mar 2009
Depression-era drifters Clyde Barrow (Warren Beatty) and Bonnie Parker (Faye Dunaway) embark on a life of crime. They crave adventure - and each other. Nothing in film history has prepared us for the cascading violence to follow. We learn they can be hurt - and dread they can be killed.
Also stars Gene Hackman, Michael J. Pollard, Estelle Parsons, Gene Wilder, Denver Pyle, Dub Taylor and Evans Evans.
Directed by Arthur Penn.
