Review of Bones and All (2022) by Liamexe — 28 Jan 2023
"Bones and all" is a film about lonely, guilty, and miserable people who are forced to consume human flesh in order to satisfy their inner need. The direction of Luca Guadagnino is brilliant; he made the right choices for the "mise en scene.
" The love story is not well developed, and the graphic images and metaphors about cannibalism led us to a climactic moment that lacked surprise at times. The tale also occasionally feels a little dull.
It's a drama with some scary sequences, not a horror movie. Not terrible, but could be far better, especially with the cast and the film's original material.
