Extremely well written. Probably the best western made in the last 10 years because it avoids the tropes that have plagued modern westerns.
Would not recommend this those that are squeamish. The cinematography is beautiful and the settings feel very real, but there are some scenes that will stick with me for a long time. Don't let that dissuade you however, just be aware that there are moments where things go south and little is left to the imagination.
I wish that indie movies like this got more attention. This came out around the same time as Hateful 8 (NOT GOOD, I DONT RECOMMEND) but I knew nothing of it until a few days ago.
