Review of Bone Tomahawk (2015) by Gavin P — 21 May 2016
A decent Western, set in California, with an easy plot to follow - 'Indians' (or "troglodytes") kidnap O'Dwyer (Wilson)'s wife (Simmons) and four of them - Sheriff Hunt (Russell with his 'Hateful 8' beard/mo), Brooder (Fox) and Chicory (Jenkis) set off to rescue her.
It's pretty by the numbers and a little long, with no amazing scenery (maybe I'm spoiled after watching 'The Revenant'), but it does have some good banter, mostly thanks to Jenkins. Some truly gruesome bits at the end, but it's not all bad.
