Review of Bond Girls Are Forever (2002) by Raza S — 12 Sep 2010
An interesting documentary hosted by The Living Daylight's Maryam d'Abo which discusses what makes a Bond leading lady memorable, how the roles have defined the careers of the actresses who played them and how the parts have evolved in response to social changes.
Maryam d'Abo is an engaging host and the documentary is at its best when she speaks with other actresses and they compare their experiences. Most have interesting things to say about their experience and the documentary does not labor its point too much.
The documentary is available accompanying Casino Royale on DVD and Blu Ray and is worth a look for fans of the series.
