It's a canine Truman Show. Agreeable enough family movie that hits all the items on the Disney checklist for Movie Making. Which could be bad or good, depending on your preference. Because the secondary and minor characters are so entertaining, Bolt himself comes off as a rather dull but necessary plot device.
