While the basic premise is familiar, the characters are what make the movie. Each one is comical in their own way and the writers did a great job of balancing the lines so that you end up caring for each of them.
An epic for the ages, No but a movie that is worth every penny to see in the theater... and undoubtedly buy on DVD afterwards.
