Review of Bolt (2008) by Jamie D — 18 Aug 2010
Penny: Yeah, you're my good boy.
I watched this film weeks after getting my own puppy, and so naturally fell in love with Bolt. Disney have perfectly captured the magic of owning, loving and caring for a puppy, and Bolt oozes real dog-like characteristics. His little mannerisms brought a smile to my face, and I could not help laughing along with the events that he got himself into. The other characters too, particularly Rhino were also memorable and loveable, and unique in the Disney back-catalogue of characters. An honourable mention should also go the various pigeons throughout the film also brought out a few laughs. A lovable film, though not techniqually perfect will definately be loved by Dog owners worldwide.
