Review of Bolt (1995) by Jeff B — 23 Aug 2010
Very well done, and very eye-opening. The voices they chose for this movie were perfect, especially for the hamster, Rhino. The story had great lessons, especially in the sense that real life always comes first.
The animation was very smooth and you almost forget that it was animated at all in some parts, mostly because the animals looked very realistic in their sense of style. However, the plot itself was lacking in some areas, especially with the adult characters and how unrealistic and stretched some of them felt.
Overall, a definite plus for Disney (nix Pixar, surprisingly).
