Review of Boiler Room (2000) by Jerome K — 20 Jan 2008
A great movie, with an outstanding performace by Giovanni Ribisi. A rather intense movie about a somewhat boring subject, the stock market. This movie survives Scott Cann, it features a great cameo like appearence from Ben Affleck, and is the best role I've seen for Vin Diesel.
But what holds this film together is the vulnarabilty of Ribisi. I don't think this movie could stand without him.
