Review of Boiler Room (2000) by Daniel W — 25 Jan 2009
A great film from start to finish, with an exceptional cast. Ribisi is well cast as the lead, a young college dropout, drawn into the world of stock Brokers. Affleck, though not in it much, is fantastic as the cocky headhunter, who's first scene in the film, is one of the best in the film.
The surprise from the cast however is from Vin Diesel, who is by far the best actor in the film, showing that he's not just some lug with muscles.
This film is worth watching, its a bit confusing with all the Broker stuff but the acting it top notch, the story flows and the pace is kept throughout the film.
