This movie tries to be more than it is. It's okay, but it tries to be too many things and comes off as unfocused in the end. Also, it kind of masquerades as a show piece for up and coming actors back in the year 2000.
(Which it fails at achieving.) Ribisi is a great character actor, but isnt compelling as a lead. Tons of camera filtering in the boiler room is annoying. People act like this movie is the bible of selling, and thats just bullshit.
