It's entertainment, folk. Some of the reviews, especially critics, criticize the movies because it doesn't drill deep enough in the Mercury's life. They say it's superficial. I say bull.
People go to a movie like this because they want to be entertained by the music and the stage performances. They want a rock 'n roll fantasy. And that's what this movie delivers. Most people don't don't go to a movie like this for deep, ugly, psychology meaning to a person's life.
The movie did delve into Mercury's life. It did show the dark side. The critics scoff because it didn't got deep enough into the toilet--what THEY consider would be the toilet of his life. There was beauty.
The music was hot, and the movie showed those things quite well. I thoroughly enjoyed it.
