Review of Bohemian Rhapsody (2018) by P C — 18 Dec 2018
It may not be extremely accurate and some of the changes seemed actually quite arbitrary, still this is a very enjoyable movie, which should make happy both old fans (unless they don't decide to be difficult on purpose) and new generations. It's a movie that tells the story of a band and how it became a myth. it doesn't want to be a documentary in the first place so it points more on the emotional reactions of the audience than anything else. Which is fine by me, because as a fan I already know plenty of stuff about Freddie's life and the others' too. But just because I'm such an hardcore fan I'm really proud to see so many young people interested in Queen music thanx to the movie. So what if it's not precise in every single detail?
Also, many many kudos to the authors for not showing the last years of Freddie's life, that would've been unnecessary morbid.
