Review of Bohemian Rhapsody (2018) by Felipe%20 F — 18 Dec 2018
My wife and I, neither big fans of QUEEN, got deep into the movie. How songs originated, how songs were sluffed [like Meatloaf's "Paradise in the Dashboard Lights" publishers rejected "Bohemian Rhapsody" as too long for DJs to play], how bands split [Like the Temptations] and reconcile like families, how creativity finds its way home even when forged in fame, and how today's music can be classical and modern without tripping over itself.
Some raunch not appealing to my wife and some extended meaningless parties that could have been opted down, but still an outstanding film that drove the audience to sing and stomp along. Deserves to be seen on the big screen.
Yea, 5*.
