Review of Bohemian Rhapsody (2018) by Hugoferreira — 13 Nov 2018
This movie is exhilaration from top to bottom. Truly entertaining, fast paced and with a kick that will leave you happy in your movie seat theater. Rami delivers in my opinion an award wining performance here.
He is the heart and soul of the movie. However, we're talking about Freddie here, and if we we're talking about Freddie then I must say the movie comes a bit short. The music is there, it will make you jump from your seat when "tum tum ta tum tum ta" starts just like Queen's music does, but when it comes to Freddie then you feel like something is missing.
The most outrageous, eccentric, exciting musical genius of all time fails short in the movie and due to, perhaps, Singer's lack of balls in delivering a more crude, raw, real version of Freddie, because Rami was perfect.
