Review of Bohemian Rhapsody (2018) by Hannah D — 11 Nov 2018
Critics have been harsh and the audiences have loved it.
This divide in opinion is not unusual and in this case.
Itâ(TM)s eady to see why. Itâ(TM)s not a documentary. We saw enough to understand the life style Freddie was living.
If he chose not to come out as gay, remember the times.
If he chose not to disclose his diagnosis, itâ(TM)s not for us to judge. Those who said the lack of emphasis on his homosexuality and decadent lifestyle did not do Freddie justice, miss the point that he didnâ(TM)t want it public k owledge. The movie was sensational. The performance was the lead was extraordinary and gave us an insight into.
A gifted, complicated and flawed artist. The musical performances alone are worth going to see this film.
