Review of Bohemian Rhapsody (2018) by Stuart A — 11 Nov 2018
As a Queen fan all my life, my expectations for this film here high. I am happy to say that this film exceeding my expectations and I absolutely loved it. Rami Malek and the rest of the cast are perfect and the live concerts are recreated well.
Some timelines are inaccurate, but it didn't bother me at all. They didn't shy away from Freddie's sexuality nor did they white wash Freddie Mercury who we all know was an Indian immigrant in England, moving there when he was 18 and desperate to fit in.
Being a Queen fan I knew they were some inaccuracies and I made my peace with in realizing its a film, not a documentary.
