Review of Bohemian Rhapsody (2018) by Reeb L — 13 Nov 2018
Critics get it wrong, again. Best movie of 2018. Have seen it seven times and cried, laughed, sang and clapped every time. Appreciated how well crafted underlying humor made this movie so enjoyable. And the music, I wanted to up and dance in the aisle.
Phenomenal casting complete with a well directed, tasteful script encapsulating the emotion of Freddie Mercury's tragic ending of his life without it ending onscreen. But memorializing it with Live Aids' best performance that poor David Bowie had to follow.
Elton John reportedly stomped into his trailer complaining to his bandmates that Queen had just stole the whole show. I would have kept the original Live Aid Audience which had a life if it's own for authenticity.
Would love to see uncut version.
