Review of Bohemian Rhapsody (2018) by Leon J — 11 Nov 2018
God fucking damn it. This movie is amazing. It takes a lot to make me cry. I cried. I legitimately cried. And, as a transmale bisexual, I thought the way they portrayed Freddie's sexuality while not directly focusing on it and making it define his character as a whole.
They could have had Elton John and David Bowie in there, (since they were both a big part of Freddie's life,) it definitely would have made the movie 10x better than it is already. For a Queen biopic it is definitely the best.
It's not just about Freddie, it's about the band. Also, the actor for Brian May was basically the same old Brian we knew years ago. Just with blue eyes. It was magical. Rami Malek has some good moves that I can definitely see Freddie doing as well.
Overall this is one of my favorite biopics in the world.
