Review of Bohemian Rhapsody (2018) by Luca A — 04 Nov 2018
Honestly a great movie. And yes its a movie not a documentary, it does not have every detail of Freddie Mercurys life in infinite detail, but moves continuously, sometimes too quickly but mostly does so in a way that keeps you rapt.
I would disagree with those saying his sexuality and race was overlooked because his bisexuality was thoroughly present throughout this movie and is the foundation of a large amount of key moments. His race is an aspect that comes in and out but is in no way erased.
This is an easily enjoyed movie with great music and a fantastic Live Aid section. In this case it seems critics have lost touch with the average movie goer because everyone in the theatre with me was laughing, gasping and cheering along.
