Review of Bohemian Rhapsody (2018) by Maria D — 05 Nov 2018
I am a self-proclaimed Queen historian because I watched every Queen/Freddie documentary there is and I have read all biographies and articles available.. so I pretty much a solid background as to what Queen is about and what Freddie has gone through. Watching the movie for the first time left me a little bit disappointed (my Queen Historian instinct kicked in). But just a BIT. Only a BIT. I was thrilled and so happy to hear the Queen songs and to see Rami's and the rest of the boys' performance being the Queen - they really did give their all into it.
Now that I watched it the second time, all the disappointments were gone. Only the thrill and the joy I've always felt in listening to Queen songs and watching their live performances. I loved the movie and I recommend it to everyone, fan or not, because it really embodied the spirit of Queen music and what they all went through.
