Review of Bohemian Rhapsody (2018) by Lincoln K — 05 Nov 2018
As music bio pics go this one is pretty good. Rami Malek is terrific as Freddie Mercury and the film is imminently watchable. Of course having all those iconic songs in the film certainly helps. The movie covers a lot of ground, from just before Queen forms through their Live Aid performance so some areas get short shrift but it seems to hit all the main notes.
The CGI crowds at the final concert were a bit off putting but for the most part the technical efforts are good... Certainly worth a viewing.
