Review of Bohemian Rhapsody (2018) by Dalton M — 05 Nov 2018
There are certainly some historical inaccuracies in this for the sake of storytelling, but this is a film, not a documentary. Having ready numerous books and followed the band for years, these inaccuracies do kind of stand out.
But they did not detract from the enjoyment of this film. Malek absolutely shines as Freddie. There are tons of easter eggs throughout the film for hardcore Queen fans that will jump out at you. Some of it feels rushed, but how can you cover every album, every hit, and every milestone in two and a half hours? It is worth watching on a big screen with a great sound system.
Can't wait to go back again!
