Review of Bohemian Rhapsody (2018) by Moviemitch96 — 02 Nov 2018
This was a pretty fun biopic that greatly highlighted the life and times of Freddie Mercury and the legendary rock band Queen. However, it is a bit by the numbers in terms of a biopic and the story and pacing felt rushed at times, but Rami Malek's highly energetic and fully committed performance as Mercury greatly carries much of the film to make up for that.
He's definitely what makes the film the most fun to watch. Overall, like I said, it felt pretty standard for a biopic, but that doesn't mean I didn't have any fun with it, and even if you're not a huge Queen fan, there's no denying how catchy and fun most of their songs are, so there's plenty of great things to enjoy in this film.
