Review of Bohemian Rhapsody (2018) by Compi24 — 03 Nov 2018

Considering how many issues I actually had with this film, it feels odd giving it as high of a score as this. Maybe that's the power of music and seeing the legends behind some of the best music of all time onscreen for the first time.

Rami Malek's performance and the music alone honestly allow me to look past the film's many flaws (the sanitized feel, the cliches, the blatant falsehoods/omissions in the narrative). But it's the earnest approach, though, that really won me over in the end.

This is a great time and an easy listen overall. Good stuff.
