Review of Bohemian Rhapsody (2018) by Lamontraymond — 02 Nov 2018

I've never seen a movie quite like this before, and I've seen all the music docs. It starts out really well, and then gets incredibly boring in the middle third, before finishing in triumphant fashion.

I'm not sure that moviegoers who weren't music fans during Live Aid (1985) will appreciate it nearly as much - that was an incredible day. I agree with the critics in general that the songs are pretty much the entire film.

The connective tissue between them is average at best. This movie makes Control (the Joy Division movie) look like high art.
