Review of Bohemian Rhapsody (2018) by Chris D — 01 Nov 2018
As a big big Fan growing up to Freddie Mercury, this movie could not have cast a better lead role than Rami. Yes he was not the first choice for this movie but, if they would have went the other way and focused on a raw 18+ movie, I believe we would not have gotten the Nice Story we did with Rami.
This is what this is a Nice Story. For me I did not need the "RAW" sexual story the critic's needed for whatever reason... We know Freddie had rough parites with crazy sex and drug stories, We also know Queen had fights and arguments.
Why focus and all that and not the story of the band and the songs? Telling and showing the birth of some of the hit songs like We will Rock You and of course one of the biggest songs , if not the biggest in the world, Bohemian Rhapsody was more satisfying for me and I believe this movie will hit home with the viewers.
Sorry Critics, but just sit and enjoy the story and look for Rami at the Oscars!
