Review of Bohemian Rhapsody (2018) by George N — 03 Nov 2018

Excellent Movie:

1) Let's go through the cons:

- I didn't quite understand the relationship between Freddie and his wife. It was clear that it was not traditional, but, I would have liked to get a little more of what she provided him with.

- I'm not sure Rami Malek nailed Freddie's real personality. But heck, I didn't know Mr. Mercury personally.

- The movie played it a little safe. Maybe these guys got along for the most part, but it comes accross a little pollyanna. Maybe that's just my cynicism.

2) Pros.

- There's lots of Queen music in it.

- Rami Malek's performance, especially the last 25 minutes, is fantastic.

- It tells the story of one of the best (but underrated) rock groups of all time.
