Im not sure what I expected from this movie being rated PG-13. Barely anything about Mercury's life was PG-13, and really pushed the boundaries of unrated. It was well acted by everyone involved and the story was historically accurate to my knowledge, but it lacked the raw realness I was hoping for.
There wee a few scenes where I thought they might touch more on Mercury's humanity, but then they pulled back and did another music scene. I will say that this will have the years best soundtrack and might even get an award for the music.
If you are a big fan of Queen, you can see it in the theaters for the sound experience if you dont have a good home theater system. Despite wanting to love this movie I would have to say wait for the DVD/Bluray/Digital Download.
