Review of Bohemian Rhapsody (2018) by Grayson M — 03 Nov 2018
Malek really captures the essence of Freddy Mercury. He was complex, multifaceted, an incredibly talented musical genius and visionary. He recognized the power of Rock and Roll, and wanted to reach into the heart of each member of the audience to be part of the show.
They would sing along and stamp their feet and clap their hands. Queen was a band created from a family of misfits. Freddy found his way home to his family, his band mates and life partners and triumphed at Live Aid! His life story is portrayed as triumph, not tragedy, perhaps that is why the critics did not like it.
Fans who lived the band Queen, will love it!
