This was a great movie. Not groundbreaking, but genuinely very interesting and entertaining. Great performances all around, but Rami Malek really became Freddie Mercury. The performance was great in the beginning, but once the movie reached the 80ï¿ 1/2 1/2 1/2(TM)s it really took off.
The story was solid, with a few parts that I didnï¿ 1/2 1/2 1/2(TM)t love. But overall a movie definitely worth watching. I definitely recommend seeing it in IMAX. The sound system definitely compliments the concert scenes.
And one scene in the rain is very immersive with the sound.
