Review of Bohemian Rhapsody (2018) by Amanda K — 03 Nov 2018
I absolutely loved it. I even went and watched Actual Queen footage and the concerts that were depicted in the movie and I think the actors did a phenomenal job :) ???? I also liked that it didn't focus on the negative. It didn't show scenes of how Freddie got AIDS or his drug use, but kept it inspiring from how passionate and talented he was and the creations that the band made as a "family" very inspiring and that even when he found out he had AIDS let his love for music, performing with his band and living in the moment to provide bliss to himself and other people was truly beautiful and inspiring. I have been a performer as well and performed with injuries and knew that in the moment of the time you have to provide happiness to other people and yourself and give everything you have in the moment is such a meaningful purpose in the moment.
I also loved that Mike Myers played the perfect part to give a comedic homage. Wayne's World really gave a wonderful scene of the characters singing and banging their heads to Queen and bringing Mike Myers in the movie as the Producer that turned them down was a little gem. ??
Fascinating and I just loved it.
