Review of Body of War (2007) by Mel V — 24 Feb 2008
Body of War moves you. It sure does. But I'm not sure if it offers a resolution of any sort. The 9/11 war has spawned a whole new genre of war movies and Body of War is one of them. It traces the emotional turbulence Tomas Young goes through as a US soldeir on his return from the war.
The music is the only winning stroke in this movie. It is the sole element that involves you, makes you think.
