Review of Body of Lies (2008) by Nancy T — 26 Dec 2009

Watched this movie on Ryan's recommendation, one of the best political thrillers I've seen in a long time. The story takes place in the Middle East and revolves around CIA operatives. DiCaprio is as intense in his acting as in Blood Diamonds.

This is a Ridley Scott movie, meaning it has great tension and moves quickly. Probably did not receive box office because you have to have a bit of a brain to follow the plot, and as we know, most of the general public does not.

Fantastic screeenplay, fast moving with plots intricacies and superb banter between DiCaprio's and Crowe's characters evoking the cynicism towards the current war on terror.
