Review of Body of Lies (2008) by Dan S — 21 Sep 2010
In his review, Roger Ebert wrote that this film is kind of like a James Bond set in the Middle East. I found it gripping. But I doubted that Leonardo DiCaprio's character was really able to do all that he does, and even less that the American military had the capabilities that are depicted.
I guess I just expected more from Ridley Scott. Also, I am tired of the graphic torture scenes in these kinds of films. Some things *can* be left to the imagination.
