Review of Body of Lies (2008) by Jon C — 30 Oct 2010
It tries so hard, and, in the end that is what killed it.
When this was being written, it reached the point of being a good movie, and then kept going and going and going until it was back at terrible. (That makes sense in my mind, by the way).
Really, the only thing that got me through this was a somewhat interesting plot (although it reaches the point of being laughable), and the outstanding performances of Russel Crowe and Leonardo Dicaprio.
I was disappointed, when I saw a terrific duo directed by Ridley Scott, I was expecting a good film.
