Review of Body Heat (1981) by Liang Q — 16 Apr 2009
A very dated film now and it really does show it's age, even if it is as old of me! Body Heat is quite a predictable film, and I guessed the ending, but this doesn't matter to much as they manage to pull off a well balanced film.
And although it is very easy to follow the plot, the film has a great atmosphere and charm, but it's not a film to sit down with your parents as it's a little racy. I do love the way the heat of the weather is a parallel to the heat of the relationship, and the of the plot.
Not a film for everyone but not an awful film either.
