Review of Body Bags (1993) by Sean C — 18 May 2008
John Carpenter seems to be paying homage to the Cryptkeeper from EC Comics which is nice. While I found the first segment fine, I thought it was territory already mastered by John Carpenter with Halloween.
The second segment with Stacy Keach I thought was pretty funny. No one seems to like that one, but it was my favourite. It shows more range from John Carpenter. He doesn't get to do comedy ever, so it was a nice change.
The third one from Tobe Hooper was also good. Nobody is used to seeing Mark Hamill become homicidal so I thought that was nice way to to go. For a made for cable anthology, I thought it was pretty good.
