This movie is vacuous drivel… I turned it off before it was over. My dad said we live in a different world than critics and I couldn’t agree more in regards to this film. I felt my soul drying up inside with every passing minute watching this garbage.
I read it was a horror comedy which I normally enjoy (Shaun of the Dead, What We Do In Shadows, Extra Ordinary, even Midsommar) but I didn’t chuckle or find anything remotely funny in the first hour of this film.
I guess “ironic” self-referential wokeness is considered comedy now. Would be better off at a student film festival, and even then I’d still say it SUCKS.
