Watching this it is easy to forget Sands was arrested on terrorism charges for his role in the sectarian bombing of a furniture factory and attempted murder of police officers. Instead we are given Sands the poet, a Sinn Fein supported my this which never actually challenges the views of a man so clearly wedded to paramilitaries and destruction of his homeland.
