Review of Bob Dylan – Don't Look Back (1967) by Jenna I — 10 Feb 2008
It's the Grey Gardens of music docs - a clear-eyed, unbiased glance at Bobby D.'s Time and the freakshow surrounding it. No Direction Home may have the stats and I'm Not There may have the cult of personality, but this has something more precious: A "transparent eyeball" approach that refuses to direct the viewer.
One of the best documentaries ever, really.
