Review of Boat Trip (2002) by Michael C — 08 Nov 2008
Hilarious comedic stylings and entertaining feature. Horatio Sanz does a great bumbly Chris Farley / Belushi / John Candy role without too much analysis. Sanz and Gooding Jr (who proves finally that he should've never won that Osar) are two buddies who accidentally get put on a gay cruise ship, courtesy of Will Ferrell (in a short strange cameo).
Exellent appearances from Sir Roger Moore as an old, gay and retired spy (he would've made a great villain). Not a bad effort at all and better than some low-key SNL efforts. This seemed like a project that Adam Sandler may have dropped, even if there are comparisions to his 'Chuck & Larry'.
Not sophisticated or high-brow, but an entertaining and fun feature!
