Review of Boat Trip (2002) by Call I — 10 Aug 2011
I guess it never crossed anyone's mind that homophobia is not funny. Well, one has to keep that in mind since our society is trying be more politically correct. Well, I'm all for impolitically correct humor, but it has to be done right because if it is not, then you just have film with a lot of biased jokes.
I thought ho ho with Boat Trip. Boat Trip is a film that tries way too hard to be funny which is funny in a shotgun to face while wearing a mousketeer ears. The jokes and the acting are bad, very bad.
There are a few chuckle scenes and scoffing moments, but there are very little laughs. The flick is very hypocritical because it sends mixed messages which makes it reprehensible. I was surprised to see Roger Moore.
He was interesting to watch, but I wanted to see more of him.
