Review of Boarding Gate (2007) by Thomas W — 29 Sep 2008
Having seen Demonlover, i'm familiar with Assayas' oeuvre: sickly lit, multilingual dialog, multinational location, tense, suspenseful, sabotage and backstabbing core to the story. the synopsis here blandly conveys the idea and sure, argento and madsen aren't the highest caliber actors but they do well in their parts.
it was enjoyable and i'd recommend if you're a fan of a suspense film where you're left in the dark and spend the later-part or post film piecing it together in your head.
