Review of Boarding Gate (2007) by Tony P — 02 Dec 2008
Sucks pretty hard, but there's some lovely cinematography. It takes some especially lame writing to kill a scene between Michael Madsen and Asia Argento. The two of them are so magnetic, but definetely not in Boarding Gate, where the dialogue is nothing but reminiscent babble interrupted only by autoerotic asphyxiation.
The mystery and intrigue of their two characters is steadily bogged down by useless exposition. I tired quickly. And once Argento goes solo for the second half of the film, I was just confused by the plot and exhausted by the pace.
Very laborious, but some good acting.
