Review of Blunt Force Trauma (2015) by Kage M — 06 Jul 2016
I'm no reviewer; this is my first such post. We found Blunt Force Trauma to be surprisingly good, well-acted with a captivating plot line. It never revealed too much and in fact allowed the audience to wonder, surmise, ponder, i.
E. actually think and engage. The shotting game or competition was a brand new concept to us, and again, we were allowed to muse ad wonder about the rules and purpose of it. Ultimately (spoiler?) one discovers even its origins.
We thought Kwanten and Pinto did a superb job. Rourke was, as always that enigmatic Rourke, but could have been easily missed had we not known him. The ending made us catch our breath. Note: don't leave before the credits roll.
