Review of Blues Brothers 2000 (1998) by Bill T — 24 Sep 2012
The only reason this movie gets any kind of passing mark from me is because of the music, which is really really good, expecially towards the end with the revival church and the battle of the bands. The rest, is almost like Ghostbusters meet the Blues Brothers.
Dan Ackroys just can't stop acting or doing stupid thing, totally betraying the feel of the original film. And Goodman, Morton, and especially that kid do not equal John Belushi combined.
