There are some movies that succeed so well in creating their own little disturbing world that you're not sure you want to ever watch it again. Blue Velvet is like that. Totally freaky, messed up, and weird, but amazing.
The simple fact that I still get shivers when I think about some of the scenes is really a testament to how well it succeeded...Dennis Hopper is BIZARRE.
