Review of Blue Velvet (1986) by Kirk B — 25 Feb 2012
I've seen this film 100's of times and it's up there with some of my favourite films of all time. But I wanted to review the Blu Ray reissue, which shamefully has only been released in the USA.
The good news is that it's a multi region Blu Ray disc. This transfer has been overlooked by David Lynch himself and boy does it look amazing! The film has never looked so rich in texture before, the soundtrack sounded so eerie! This film truly is a benchmark in quality Blu Ray discs.
And I've fallen in love with Blue Velvet all over again.
